About Us

After hobby gardening for the past 15 years, I took the leap three years ago and started our family flower farm. When my sister first introduced me to the idea of flower farming I never considered farming flowers professionally. Life was already crazy busy, why add more to it? Then I found countless Instagram accounts that showcased flower farmers from all over the country growing and selling all kinds of beautiful flowers.

I was hooked and started right away to learn what steps I needed to take to be a successful flower farmer. Three years later and I am still learning and expanding my knowledge every day.

Wild Flower Farm would be nothing without the help of my two daughters, Claire and Ruby.

In our free time, we like to read, eat sweet desserts, and binge watch Netflix together.

Claire

When I first started talking out loud about flower farming, my daughter Claire, who was 11 at the time, immediately jumped in and said she wanted to help and be a part of this flower farmer adventure, I was thrilled.

Claire is a phenomenal human being. Not only does she excel academically at school, she is curious, kind, and ambitious. From day one, she has been bouncing ideas off with me, talking strategy and helping in any way that I might need.

Claire works harder than any 13 year old that I know, is an outstanding harvester and does an amazing job at assembling bouquets. I couldn’t be more lucky to have Claire on my team.

Ruby

Ruby is now eight and wants to help more than ever.

She did a great job last year pinching zinnias and cosmos and we hope she will want to help more with weeding and harvesting this year. Her contagious smile, sense of mischievousness, and bubbly personality add fun and humor to our long work days.

Ruby and her dynamic energy makes sure to remind us what’s really important and helps us remember to take lots of ice cream and trampoline breaks.
